Irmhild Kleinhenz is one of the key leaders of the Guild and has worked for over forty years to encourage practitioners to develop their esoteric and exoteric work in healing. She has also been instrumental in achieving support from the Anthroposophic Medical Section for the acknowledgement and endorsement of the term Anthroposophic Naturopath, which embraces all ingestive modalities. Irmhild has developed an Advanced Training in Anthroposophic Naturopathy, which has now completed its first cycle of three years. Along with Mentoring, Practitioners can apply for Endorsement through her.
Irmhild is a Fellow of ANTA having studied Naturopathy, including Homoeopathy, Herbalism, and Nutrition. She has also trained at the Lucas Klilnik in Switzerland for the English-speaking course in 1994. On her return, Irmhild also undertook the Post Graduate Diploma for Integrative Medicine at Swinburne University under the direction of Professor Avni Sali.
To enhance her knowledge of anthroposophic therapies, Irmhild also worked together with anthroposophic nurses, massage therapists, art therapists, music therapists and eurythmy therapists (having herself trained in Eurythmy for four years).
In recent years, Irmhild has also given lectures, workshops and been involved in the Inscribing Signs Course for a cultural-spiritual approach to dying and death. She has taught professionals and family members how to lay out the body and hold a Vigil. Most of her current work is now dedicated to supporting other practitioners to find their vocational path for anthroposophic healing work.
